Cat Thursday - Of Course It's A Bed!

Welcome to the weekly meme hosted by The True Book Addict that celebrates cats; their foibles and humorousness and the joy they bring. You can join in by posting a favorite LOL cat pic you made or came across, cat art or share with us pics of your own felines, then post your link up at The True Book Addict.

Goof decided his new scratching pad also works quite well as a bed. I apologize for the mess, the fans had blown a stack of paperwork on the floor and I didn't take time to clean before taking the picture.

Since I took this picture, he's either ignored the scratcher or sprawled on it. I think he prefers the flat cardboard scratchers but the store was out of those when I went shopping.

  1. Of course it is. All things are beds. Especially things hari can stick to. Like, your black pants.

  2. Goof is so handsome! Our Thomas thinks the laundry is a good bed. Especially if it's clean but not yet put away.

  3. Aw, but he looks so comfy there! :) I bought one of those for my kitties once. Abigail used it as a bed, too...until George used it as a litterbox. :P

  4. He's so handsome! My girls sometimes use their scratching boards as beds too. Doesn't look comfy to me but they seem to like it. LOL

  5. My daughter gets the flat cardboard scratchers (double-wide - he's a brawny 12 lbs) for her cat Humphrey. He not only scratches on it - quite vigorously - but also sits on it in "loaf" position. We call it his cat boat.

  6. He's like..."this rough surface feels very good to lay on. Scratching pad...pshaw!" Too cute. :)
