Sunday Book Share #85

http://www.talksupeblog.com/search/label/Bought%20Borrowed%20and%20Bagged

I'm participating in The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer; Showcase Sunday hosted by Books, Biscuits and Tea; Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews, Bought Borrowed and Bagged, hosted by TalkSupe, and Library Loot co-hosted by The Captive Reader and Silly Little Mischief. All of these memes give book bloggers the chance to share print and digital books they've received, and the posts and events at their blogs.

Not a bad week last week except that my wrist is continuing to deteriorate. It's especially frustrating because my wrist had been doing so well. A new editing job came in, so I'll be busy with that for the next week or so. I did a small shelf purge and donated about a dozen or so books to the hospital when I went to visit a friend who had surgery. Today is Easter and I'm going to a different friend's house for dinner. I have to put the finishing touches on their basket first. :) Dinner was cancelled due to the hostess being sick.

To those of you celebrating today, Happy Easter, and for all of us in the Northern Hemisphere, Happy Spring Equinox in just a few days! And it was Passover at the beginning of last week so Happy Passover to all who celebrated! It's a busy time for holidays right now. :)

Someone on Twitter RTed this pic and it's so me that I had to share. Enjoy :)

The Week In Review

Odd, interesting, or funny search phrases leading to the blog: One very odd one last week - "christian dating online austin texas new topic" Uh, what? Another new one that I wish I had on the blog - "broken soul excerpts from faith hunter" Sorry, she's still writing it. "threesome" made a re-appearance but surprisingly, there were no cat ones last week.

BOOKS! - click on the cover to go the book's goodreads page

Library - A whole bunch of books came in at once. Feast or famine, I swear. :D

  13. Oh, my, that's a library bonanza! Seven Wild Sisters looks like fun. I'll have to see if my library has a copy. And I love the Seanan McGuire cover - is the main character a ghost?

I hope your wrist heals soon; I can imagine that's a pain, metaphorically as well as physically. And I'm sorry you missed your Easter dinner, and hope the hostess feels better soon.

P.S. Wasn't the Spring equinox on March 20? Beltane is coming up (around May Day), though. Or am I confused?
